Our MissionBailey's Cafe is a place of conversation, artistic expression, the preparation and sharing of food. Together, people of all ages gather to learn from each other, to discover themselves, to transform and to celebrate while energizing the community with a sense of interconnected purpose, creativity and culture.
Our VisionFor years, founder Stefanie Siegel has dreamt about Bailey's Cafe, about a welcoming place where people of all ages and backgrounds create an environment of joy and discovery. The spirit of Bailey's Cafe is one that celebrates the individual, builds bridges between generations and fosters the growth of meaningful community dialogue and action. Stefanie, a teacher, activist and chef, along with Co-Founder and Creative Director, Kymbali Craig, have visualized and developed events and adventures that have inspired and energized all who have become a part of the Bailey's community. |

In March 2008, Jeffrey and Mary Lou Shafer hosted a Friendraiser for Bailey's in thier Manhattan home. Jay Leno and Stewart Rahr were honored at this event. Jay was unable to attend but sent a video message (see below) where he shares his view on the work of Bailey's Cafe.
